Re: Anybody Catching
Well done to everybody who have been catching (lucky so and so's!) even if they aren't big ones.
I'm off out on Monday with gavin1928. Wish me luck (I need it).

But its a start
I also had one on that was at least 15lb that spat the hooks just as i was getting it close to the bank
Oh well it can only get better
Adie
Ady, that happened while Kell was with me, I think that as soon as the Pike spots him waiting on the bank, it gives them an urgency to throw the hooks

Re: Anybody Catching
Got out for a session today on my local water.
It wasn't until my 3rd pond and 6th swim that I had a run. (drop offs worked a treat )
Weighed in at 8lb 2oz
Method: Free running ledger
Bait: Sardine
Time caught: 1.30pm

Re: Anybody Catching
Well done nightwatchman.
This season is proving to be a tough one, but if you are prepared to rove around and go to the fish instead of waiting for them to come to you, it reaps it's rewards.
As you have proved, sir.

Re: Anybody Catching
I have given up the idea of sitting in one swim for hours, though the half hour per swim stint I recently tried might be a bit impatient
