Anybody Catching

another great day. Returned back to a venue after resting it for about 7 weeks.

9 fish to 16lb 4oz (pictured) including a mug fish 3 times to 12lb 7oz.

landed 3 fish within 15mins, same bait, same spot, same rod.

95% came on smelt. [:T][:T][:T]

Had a nice 22lb 7oz girl from my local river medway today only to be approached by 2 of our eastern
european cousins asking can we please have fish! after sending them away in short sharp jerkey movements
i released her and just sat down and thought nasty things happen to the buggers.Im truely getting sick of them.

had a day's fishing on Saturday and had 2 and one dropped run

I was 10lb 12 and the other was a PB of 18lb 2 so very pleased, as soon as i get the pictures from my mate i will post them up

Have to say a big thanks to Eric Hope who i went out with on Saturday

10lb 12 in the snow and i am very cold..



And 18lb 2 PB still cold had both within 15 mins



Now i have the bug for a bit of boat fishing

nice fish lads, 4 of us fished a canal on sunday, only 1 pike about 3lb between us. shame but we had a good laugh so good day anyway.

Had five fish saturday but never had one like this pure white and gray, will it colour up when it grows up ?. I hope not....

Had my last fish in October. Have had around a dozen trips without as much as a sniff. Went a few days ago, the float went under and I'm out my chair like an Olympic Sprinter, only to see the float bob to the surface as the fish let go off the bait. The air was blue !!! going to Lincolnshire in a few days and am anticipating better things.

The famine is over, got a 17 lb 4 oz fish today. I am one happy Piker.

Had this 16lber today

Crap pic as it was a self take with my mobile balanced on my bag
didn't check the pic as i wanted to get it back as soon as possible
only had 10 seconds to set the phone pick pike up out of net in the water and get in front of it just in time for it to take the pic
That white stuff on my leg is pike shit

Thanks lads. Sadly no picture as I forgot the camera. Don't think it had been moving much as it was covered in Leeches. Going bike to my piking roots next week, aka the Ancholme. Hoping to bag a few.

What I do though is set up my camera to take a picture well before I do any fishing and make sure I fit in the frame. That way you only have to insert yourself into that spot and hey-presto.

he took it with his phone,, which he uses while fishing. i do the same as you tho,, cheapo camera on a bankstick aimed at the unhooking mat
