Anybody Catching

As I said yesterday on another topic, Pikehunter 20 knows how to catch em  , 4 of us went today and managed 18 pike, Darren and myself, Louis (my son) and my Uncle Tony. We all caught, Darren ( who was last to catch , and was home for 2 o'clock) still had time to catch 7 fish, I had 5, Louis had 4, Tony had 2..They ranged from 8 ounce, HONEST ...... to 18 pound 7, Tony old manned us again and caught the biggest ! Darren at one stage had 3 fish in 10 minutes , followed 15 minutes later by 2 runs at the same time. I lost a good fish at the net and failed to land a couple more, Darren must have lost count how many runs he suddenly got, He may let us know in a bit but Louis and Tony lost a couple also.
We must have landed on them, although having said that , we were 150 yards apart, My fish fell to 3 different baits, we caught on the ledger, float paternoster, pop up, spinner and wobbling. I will try to get a couple of pics on in next couple of days, only 2 0r 3 of the fish made double figures, but sometimes you just have to laugh, take it all in , and wonder why it could be that we might blank next time doing exactly the same as what we did today.  
I don't know about you lot........ but I just love PIKE FISHING !!!

Thats brilliant mate,what a day!Days like that make up for the blanks.But as you said next time you could struggle to catch,thats how it goes.Thats what happened to me this week,Tues.afternoon 4 fish to 21lb. yesterday blanked and just an 8lber today.Well done,looking forward to the photos.

would just like to thank craig for a great day out. don,t know how he finds such good waters to have a crack at, hooked 9 landed 7 missed 6 runs. not sure but had the lot today wind, rain, overcast,and bright sun did not seem to bother the pike at all. they all stumbled on to my baits and all on the same bait.i'm sure the pike had moved on to the pray fish and lined up to take it in turns must have been lucky to land my baits on top of them along a read bed at 40 yards all within 15 yards of each other. all tight to the bottem. as criag said we all did well today and if i keep trying i'm sure i to will blank one day

well in boys i would just like to be able to sit on a bank and look at some water at the min.
Was it a water anyone can fish or one of these exclusive fish bowls with pet pike where only you can fish.

Cheers Adie, Tony's 18. I think the first 4 I caught would have added up to the same weight as this one, It will be nice if we can catch a couple at next weeks charity match.

12 more banked saturday...... hard work finding these 20+ fish. also included smashing 2 x drifter floats... ggrrrrrrr

had a jack of about 7lb,last knockings on a large Staffordshire lake

Out Saturday had five two just over 10lb & three 8.5lb not a bad day and a good start to 2014.
