Anybody Catching

Two days out this week, one for trout and one for Pike. 30 Pike landed and only one double. and not a single trout. Deads accounted for 90% of the runs even though i fished artificials 50/50. The plus side is that they fight like hell and even the 6lb+ fish took line off of the drag, happy days.

They say make hay while the sun shines,   so i did lol.  I have had so many fish this week but all super small.  it was a matter of time before the big girls came on the feed too and it was just a case of being there when they fed.  I did nothing different so it was all purely timing.  Wahooooo.   Dave i am afraid i got the biggie first   111cm and 20lb 7oz,   followed by a stunning 101cm 18lb 4oz and a 97cm 15lb 8oz,  13lb 4oz an 11lb 1oz and 5 under 10lb as backups.  I missed 5 too    Going back Sunday with my son and all will have changed lol. The weather was crazy too, sun rain sun rain Pike porn for you Craig

I've not been out for a while now at the moment i'm on with one of my other hobbies getting a Honda bike I've just got that needs some tlc up and running ready for the summer months

Its a Honda Gl500 got it cheap off a bloke on facebook who had dropped it and broke his leg its a American import also got a Honda NT 650 Deauville had to downsize from my 1200 Yamaha before I ether killed myself or lost my licence lol
this is it as it was I picked it up just replacing bits he broke and going to give it a fresh coat of paint later on

This was my last big fast bike Yamaha Fj1200 old bike but still kicked but only problem was I thought I was still in my youth lol I showed a lot of others on newer faster bikes due to me being a bit of a nutter        

Fair play Adie i am well jealous. the import is an english CX plastic maggot isnt it lol, I was expecting an old 400/4. I rode an FJ1200 and adored it but bought the FZ750 Genesis instead. I had a GSX, RDs of every size, VT, GPZ550 Z400j Suzuki 650GT shaft drive. You name it lol. then I had children and all that stopped lol. Boats are my passion now and I am on my 13th. drive safe Pal. Cruise over on the bike, and i will take it for a spin and you take my boat out for the day lol.

I never liked the look of them until a mate gave me one with a blown engine I got a engine off another mate for £50 after his bike had been burned out :-( and I made a good engine out of the two and had that bike for 10 years pulling a sidecar with wife and 2 kids often towing a trailer full of camping gear I found it to be a really good reliable bike which was very easy to ride and work on
I'm not into race rep type bikes one reason being I have a false leg from losing it from below my knee in a bike accident years back and can't bend my leg back enough to get on most sports bikes apart from that I do prefer older bikes

My Father used to have a 650 bonnie and a 350 volocette so I would love a classic to polish in my old age lol. My mum broke her back on the bonnie too when they went straight on at a bend lol. dangerous tools Your a glutten for punishment Adie getting back on one, fair play. My cousin and a guy at work had the CX 500 and the Turbo one. the worst cam chain rattles I ever heard lol
