Anybody Catching part two

Well I did manage to get out today as i hoped 
Poor day though i had one run near to the end of the day resulting in a small pike of about 5lb I didn't bother taking a photo of it i just slipped it back and said my goodbyes for this season A very poor season it has been for me though 
Lets hope things are back to normal for next season 

Good luck to everyone what ever you are fishing for be it roach or Catfish ( I've never fished for them yet ) 
Don't forget to look in now and then and let us know how you are getting on and hopefully show us some of your target fish

Good luck guys in your summer season     I got out for a few hours yesterday before the England game.   My Son tagged along and the usual slagging started about how he would kick my ass lol,  its the second time out together in 18 months and he had a 20 last time.   well he is now 2 for 2 lol,  hammered me 6 pike to 2 and a stunning 20lb 6oz to top it off.    LUCKY isnt he

He is very lucky Andy   Lucky that he has such a good guide and Father to take him out to where he can catch such lovely pike   
Not taking it away from him though mate good angling always helps   good for him

He is a great angler like his father, well done.

I hope to get out this week for the last time this season.
Another bit of good news is I have just payed for my syndicate water for another year I was getting a bit worried that I was going to
loose other good water but all is ok with only a moderate increase in fees

Hi. Not been to Scotland since October. I was hoping that I may get up in late March or early April but that wasn't to be.
It will be September now but hopefully we will have a lot of fish to catch before then.

 Heyup Craig how you doing mate   been a while also been a very slow year in a lot of ways mate   Fingers crossed things are going to get better this year

I had my last fishing trip the other day the 31st. I was hoping for great things but it was not to be. I had a few runs but no fish
my mate caught two but I think they must of weighed about a pound each.
It was nice to fish with my mate again and have a catch up it's a same it will be six months before we will but it again.

went out yesterday on the perch , well didn't turn out the way i wanted but cant grumble
when you want them they dont turn[img][/img] up ..pike that is

ended up with 1 perch and 2 pike this was the biggest

Well done. I have just booked my first catfish trip for the 3rd of May.

Bass are a great fish to catch. I remember some great times catching them in Ireland. Good luck.

What a wonderful day lol,    I nabbed a few hours on my local lough,    mostly to try my new Birthday present lures more than anything,  pig shads,  dragon tails and muras mouse etc.    Unreal day afloat,  25 takes,   5 landed  16lb,  11lb,  7lb  6lb   and a casted lure PB and my first ever over 20  at 23lb 10oz.  LOVED IT

Nice fish, another twenty to add to the list you put us all to shame.

I am very lucky to have the waters around me lads Huge waters are tough to learn, but can be great when you do. I was absolutely made up after 20 years failing lol. Thanks lads.

What an unreal day,  4 hrs trolling for one tiny jack,  then the cloud came over and a breeze picked up,   WOW,    4 double hook ups,   at least 30 takes,  6 doubles to 16lb,  8 jacks and a brace (number 6) of twentys at 20lb 2oz and 21lb on the nose.   some days sport.   Out again tomorrow so fingers crossed.

Wow Andy you really are on a roll lol belters them mate and your last lot You've done better in these two days out than I have all winter

thats fishing andy ,back to reality, some days you just cant go wrong , bet your still on a high

The more observant of you on here will note that this is not a Catfish. Lol. My quest for a Catfish continues.
I also caught a Jack on Spam.
