We are all in the same boat mate its getting us all down
Can't wait for it to disappear so we can get back out on some decent waters

went out yesterday morning and wish i had not bothered took 2 hours to get home without even wetting a line ?
i think when a thaw comes with a slight rise in temp it will be on fire wont know where to fish.

afta 4 blank sesions on the res and it been frozen over! started on the river this week missed 2 trout
on monday taking my sprats, could see them it was so clear! so went forther up streem were its abit deeper. Blanked yesterday so a thought ad give it another bash today! set off at half two, to the same spots ide tryed tuesday and this 18lb 1oz fancied float fished sardien at half five new river pb
and first fish ov the year

great effort patch, good fish mate, looks well worth the wait!! my last 2 trips have only produced 3 jacks so hopefully i'm due, well once it thaws a bit anyway

she only gave 1 bleeb on the alaram and not mutch ov a fight! not suprised though in this weather

had some of my better fish on them too patch, think it's all the nice juicy oils

all be fishing the trout live baits from the river if a can catch sum down there!
mite put a sardien on the other rod just incase

yhe its miles cheeper mate! never cought on herring yet tride it loads a times got 2 for £1.10 the other day

Well done Patch, my mate who I fished with in a recent pairs match has just been sacked, the jobs yours mate, the money is no good but the Bacon sarnies are good
