Anybody Catching part one

an amazing days fishing,, get in! those are the days we all dream about

today was even better.  I can not understand it guys.  Same waters same tactics but the big girls were hungry.   2 days fishing.  27lb 12oz   25lb 6oz,  22lb 15oz,  22lb 1oz,    3x 18s  2x16s  1x15   2x14  1x 12   a 9 and 5 jacks.  Unreal fishing and certainly the best I ever had,  2 brace of twentys,  two over the 25lb mark and on two different venues??????    I started the season hoping to up my total to 40X20s and its looking like the 50th wont be too far away.  I am in heaven boys truly!!!!!   Feel free to ban me Adie lol lol lol    It would be a great season,  never mind a weekend.   I am back for more tomorrow so keep an eye out for a blank lol.   Craig,  save some time and just put a £5 in the jar lol.    Happy man tonight☺

you did say the big girls would show a few weeks ago , you are in the mode now pal keep hitting them  I bet your the only guy having it that good mate , I would put money on it....well in again nice to see you keep a tidy organised boat, unlike mine , where all hell breaks lose when there's a fish on board, which is not very often these days

fantastic days fishing again mate , meanwhile I had another blank, from 5 days fishing so far this new year I,ve had the grand total of a 5 pound jack on deadbait , a nice 1-12 perch on a small crank and a bream foul hooked with a shad I hope things improve soon or I,ll be forced to spend me saturdays in the club watching the 6 nations and downing lots of lovely ale

Ive fished hard Stubbo, twice a week without fail most of the season, many blanks and lots of low doubles (50+) But when it happens it happens big lol. Thanks for the nice comments too☺

We all have spells like that Mal, its soul destroying when nothing seems to work and all around you seem to be catching, then one day out of the blue (or two days lol) it all comes together nicely. Time on the bank is the only chance you have. go get them boys

Andy you deserve it mate you have put the hours in it had to happen sooner or later not like that over here though lol I would end up with 19 jacks if I caught that many in the day

You could be right Adie, pike fishing is rarely done over here compared to the UK. 4000 acres today and 3 boats on it, and its a saturday. Thankfully its the peace and quiet I love as much as the fishing☺ Give it a try some time you would love it

4000 acres lol we don't have many bigger than 5 acres around my area and you are lucky to get a good peg to go for the pike I like to get out in the countryside one our small rivers where no one goes well not many lol Better over Steve's way they have plenty of big waters :-)

just cant get into it lately mate , me heads not with it at this moment in time , the wife's been ill , but she's is on the mend and looking forward , will get my mojo back hopefully shortly

What an amazing feat mate !

Dreadful day fishing today. 205 roach, but had to work damned hard for them. Had the same 7lb 12oz pike as on Monday though, which made up for it a bit! Out of nearly 30 anglers on the lake, only about 5 trout were caught. Hard frost followed by 2 celcius and raining all day yesterday followed by another frost last night meant everything was switched off.

Well,after dragging myself out of bed at 0430 and driving 2 hours it was not without excitement.
Managed this cracking looking 9lb fish.Second cast and must've landed right on its nose,nothing the rest of the day though.

I am sorry to post yet again lads,  you may be getting a little fed up of hearing about foreign fish.   But there is another story to tell    day 3 of an unreal weekend.  carlsberg fishing if ever there was such a thing    New swim to me but the same run of luck.    I took a lad out for the day and told him it could be hard as the wind had changed to an East gale lol.  Anchored in the swim and was pleasantly surprised to get a 16lb stunner in the first 10 minutes.  shortly followed be a 7,  and a 9,   (all mine Greedy git),   one hour later I saw my drifter float just do a little jab down about an inch and said "here we go"   he gave me a wry smile and called me a very bad name lol.   Away it went and was followed by a dour slow tug of war,  not doing much but feeling heavy    she soon slid over the net and was yet again 25lb +     Whats happened to me lol.   Dont worry I managed to get him a 15lb fish later   I missed 2 as well.   Never to be repeated!!!!!!!

16 years without a 25lb+ fish and then 4 in 12 months lol. Lucky I tell you

The fish in your water must be hungry!!Thats a beauty of a fish mate👍
