alex.... take baits too, that way you still have the choice, and tbh i've always done better with baits than lures on these ponds anyway Very Happy

Still might be hard going lads?
I fished 3 of the HDAA ponds next door yesterday and not so much as a sniff!

Mind you the weather wasnt ideal for Pike. It was bright sunshine & the surface like a mill pond.
Blankety blank !

robh107 wrote:ok then!!!! now the cellars fish in has a date i can set one for this event lol....... its either going to be the 28th february or 7th of march (they are both sundays).... i'll be totally honest and say that my car tax is also due at the end of february so i'll budget and see which one i can do.
i still havent heard anything from my original venue choice so i'm ditching it in favour of one near brandesburton that does have a tendency of throwing out a few big fish.
final choice of venue: farmers ponds. day ticket is £3 for this set of lakes.
once i have the final list of people attending i'll pm you all directions as the three ponds are quite easily missed if you dont know your way around the backroads up there.

is this the price of the ponds for tomorrow or diffrent ones?
