yes deffo, still £30 you wanting for it?
i'm all excited for the trip
bet bazz is looking forwad to it as much as me.....
lets hope the day is nice like it has been, i might just do lures instead of bait...
Re: Barton, Lincs Fish-in
i cant wait either.... not only do i get to be re-aquainted with some of you and meet some new faces, but i've been going stir crazy sat at home on sick so it's going to do me alot of good to get out..... and dont worry guys i'm feeling more or less 95% now so i shouldnt need too much babysitting
alex.... take baits too, that way you still have the choice, and tbh i've always done better with baits than lures on these ponds anyway

Re: Barton, Lincs Fish-in
Still might be hard going lads?
I fished 3 of the HDAA ponds next door yesterday and not so much as a sniff!
Mind you the weather wasnt ideal for Pike. It was bright sunshine & the surface like a mill pond.
Blankety blank !

i've just rang up and booked the pegs.... we have the first 5 leading away from where we park up on the west bank of each pond (5 pegs per pond) but we can always pick and choose if the pegs are not to your liking
i will pm you all my mobile number later on this evening and i look forward to seeing you all on sunday

MrMakk wrote:rob what baits go well with these ponds?
most will work.... some prefer coarse baits, some prefer sea baits.
just bring whatever you have and change as you see fit mate

#robh107 wrote:ok then!!!! now the cellars fish in has a date i can set one for this event lol....... its either going to be the 28th february or 7th of march (they are both sundays).... i'll be totally honest and say that my car tax is also due at the end of february so i'll budget and see which one i can do.
i still havent heard anything from my original venue choice so i'm ditching it in favour of one near brandesburton that does have a tendency of throwing out a few big fish.
final choice of venue: farmers ponds. day ticket is £3 for this set of lakes.
once i have the final list of people attending i'll pm you all directions as the three ponds are quite easily missed if you dont know your way around the backroads up there.
is this the price of the ponds for tomorrow or diffrent ones?
Re: Barton, Lincs Fish-in
Yes mate.
£3 all day - for all your rods - for all 3 ponds.
