Good fishing Paddy and onetoner, just arrived back from a new venue, disaster straight away, Sithee who is not renowned for is stealth and agility, broke one of my Sneaker 2 rods so I had to order one straight away, I am of to Ireland next weekend and thay are great boat rods. anyway the action started straight away, I lost a decent fish, never saw it but it was at least 30lbs , at the same time my other rod sprang into action, this Jack had attitude, smaller than the dead Roach he fell to, bless him it was a start A good 11lbs 8 ozs came next then a really good run on a big herring, nothing, I like to have the hooks as near to the tail as I can to avoid deep hooking, this Pike had took the head of the Herring just shy of the first trebble, better lost than deep hooked then to finish the day a very fiesty 8lbs ish gave a really good acount of itself a bit of action and some Pike as well a great day Sithee manages a Jack about 2lbs ish, that was the Pike Gods getting him back for standing on my rod Adie has very kindly volunteered to post the piccies, cheers mate.

Re: Anybody Catching
Me and my mate Andy had a go on the Leeds and Liverpool Canal, We were doing some leap frogging but it was a while before i got the first fish of the day, But within an hour Andy had one on the bank as well,
Just after this the weather changed and the rain started, So not to be greedy we went back to mine for a brew,
For a more in depth report
Here is our catch,
