is that the paisley terrapin i think there indangered .
i found one on my local a few years ago but that was in the middle of summer,, i cant see how that wee thing survived the winter..... or do they hibernate???????????
I was telling an aquarium shopkeeper on Paisley Road West about that 2 weeks ago and he told me they can indeed survive the Winter in Scotland. He says they grow like feck too. Also said it's entirely plausible that they could breed as well.

a full day on the lures
me and my brother went to the lakes on sunday for the day, been promising myself a day on this lake for a while so we hired a boat
and set off with 2 heavy set ups for the big lures and a couple of lighter outfits had a good go at trying all my heavy rubbers, jerks.crankbaits
you name it we tried it but we could not get a sniff, not even a follow.
tried smaller spoons.plugs, spinners
i am not an out and out lure angler but not a novice either dont know why we didnt catch conditions seemed spot on
thought summer was the best time fore lure fishing
bet if i was deadbaiting we would have caught hay ho

Re: Anybody Catching
I'm starting to get that feeling.
There was a just slight nip in the air early this morning that made me think "pike". I'm dusting off the rods this weekend and hitting the Yorkshire rivers. This seasons mission - a swale 20. The tees has given me two to date....and the swale has got me so near with a mid 19. here's hoping.
If not I'm sure I'll have fun trying.
It's time!

Went to a new water yesterday had two jacks, second was on float close in, it jumped clear of the water when I tried to net it, first time I've seen that was brilliant,
Went to another new water today and blanked
